1. What this site is

vula.gauteng.net is a Vul' Amathuba Festival platform in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED). It gives festival information, takes RSVPs, and lets job seekers and employers register, create profiles, post jobs and find each other before and during the festival on Tuesday 29 September 2026. By using the site you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice.

2. Attending the festival

Entry is free. An RSVP records your intention to attend and helps the organisers plan; it is not a ticket and does not guarantee entry if the venue reaches its safe capacity. GDED may change the programme, exhibitors or venue arrangements, and will publish changes on this site and on its own channels.

3. Your account

You may hold one account, in your own name or the name of your company, and you are responsible for what is done with it. Keep your password to yourself. Give true information and keep it current. You must be 18 or older to register as a job seeker or employer. You may delete your account at any time from your profile.

4. Job seekers

Your profile is shown to verified employers only while "Let employers find me" is switched on, and your contact details and CV only once an employer shortlists you. Employers may then contact you using those details. The site does not vet employers beyond the verification described on the employer's profile, so use the same care you would with any job offer: no legitimate employer asks you to pay to apply or to be interviewed. Report anything suspicious to [email protected].

5. Employers

Post only genuine opportunities you are authorised to fill, with true details. Use candidate information only to consider people for work, never for marketing or to pass on to others, and delete it when you no longer need it, and in any case within 30 days after the festival unless the person is in an active hiring process with you. Every view and download of a candidate's CV is recorded. GDED and Mind Interactive may remove a post, withhold verification or close an account that breaks these rules.

6. Acceptable use

Do not submit false information, post content that is unlawful, discriminatory or offensive, scrape the site, attempt to reach other people's data, or interfere with the site's operation. Rate limits and other protections are in place and their circumvention is a breach of these terms.

7. Content and branding

The festival branding and GDED's logos belong to GDED. Exhibitor and partner logos belong to their owners and appear with permission for the festival. You keep the rights to what you upload and give GDED and Mind Interactive permission to store and display it for the purposes of the site.

8. Liability

The site is provided as it is. GDED and Mind Interactive take reasonable care to keep the site and its information accurate and available, but do not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on the site, from a job or an engagement arranged through it, or from interruption of the service, to the extent the law allows.

9. Changes and contact

These terms may change; the version and date at the top apply, and registered users are asked to accept a new version when they next sign in. Questions: [email protected]. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
